Emily introduced me to this book, and I enjoy it because this Nigella lady explains it in a way I seem to understand. And for those of you who may be wondering what I want for my birthday in a few months you can buy me her express cookbook... or any other book by her and I will probably love it. Or you could always get me something about opera and I will love it too.
If you havn't guessed Em and I enjoy spending time in the kitchen (especially when Carly hangs out with us), granted I am only good for taking orders as to what to do but I'm sure I make a good assistant. The main reason I enjoy this time is because it allows me to be creative in another way beside music. This time we made a peach cream pie with an orange flavored crust.
"My hands are lethal" is what this picture is screaming... I should clarify, I'm not saying she kills people from what she bakes, I am saying that she is awesome at baking.

This was the orange I squeezed the life out of in order to put it in our pie crust... YUM
