I have noticed that bow ties are coming around the fashion corner so I thought I would go big or go home with this one!
As you may well know my favorite flower is the daffodil so I made one.
It looks like a party because it was a party, and will be a party in the future.
I was always jealous of those ladies wearing the huge hats in My Fair Lady so I thought I would turn what used to be my big bow tie into a big hat!
You may be asking yourself, "what on Earth do all these awesome paper items mean?" Well here is an answer for you. Emily is on the Relief Society Activities Committee and as you may know, this month we are celebrating the RS birthday! And if I haven't mentioned before I am the RS president in my branch (best calling ever invented), so I am lucky enough to get to help out when needed, and I love it because I learn new skills. Like today for instance, I learned how to make a poof ball out of tissue paper. It took around three hours for us to get them done, but it was so fun! And to top it all off, I now know an easy and cheap way of making a birthday decoration! 1. Use 10-15 sheets of tissue paper (all one color or alternating colors). 2. Fold them as if you were making a paper accordion. 3. Tie it with a long piece of string in the middle of the folded paper. 4. Fan it out and gently pull the tissue paper apart until you make a giant ball.
